University Council
The University Council — the highest body of our university — is composed of Senate members and representatives from industry and professional practice. It makes a wide range of fundamental decisions, including:
- Amendments to the university’s founding statutes
- Election of the university leadership (except the chancellor)
- Establishment, modification, and abolition of degree programs
Many decisions have already been discussed in other bodies before receiving a final vote in the University Council. Discussions may arise when matters could not be fully resolved in advance.
