AK Solidarischer Campus

We make the perspectives of students with a migration background visible, especially those of students of Turkish and Kurdish descent, and stand up for peace and social justice.

This is the place to bring in your ideas, whether you’re an active member of the working group or just here to check it out. Everyone is welcome!

Who We Are

We want to bring the experiences and realities of students with a migration background more strongly into everyday university life, especially the perspectives of students of Turkish and Kurdish descent.

We create a space where topics such as social justice, social participation and international solidarity can be discussed and reflected on together.

In doing so, we also place individual experiences in the context of wider social developments, creating opportunities for exchange, mutual support and shared engagement.

What We Offer

  • Exchange and networking for students with and without a migration background
  • Political education and awareness work on social justice, peace and migration
  • Cultural and community events
  • The student magazine “Campusstimme”

Our Events

Regular open meetings to get to know each other, chat and plan. We also offer discussion and educational events, culture and movie nights, joint activities on campus and writing meetups for the “Campusstimme”.

What We Do

🗣️

Community & Perspectives

We give students with a migration background space to get involved and bring their experiences into everyday university life.

Campusstimme

Our student magazine: anyone can write here, ask critical questions and raise topics that otherwise get overlooked.

✊

Solidarity

We stand up for everyone who has to fight for their rights in this society, at the university and beyond.

🕊️

Peace

We want a university that does research for peace and progress, and we oppose rearmament and militarization.

If there’s a topic close to your heart or something you feel is missing, feel free to bring it to us.
When do you meet?
We announce upcoming dates on Instagram.
How can I join?
Just drop by one of our meetings or reach out on Instagram. You don’t need to bring anything!
What is the Campusstimme?
Our student magazine. The first issue is already out – you can get it on campus, at our meetings and at our info stands. If you’d like to write for the next issue, get in touch with us.
Do I need a migration background to join?
No! We welcome all students who want to get involved for peace, social justice and a campus free of discrimination. Our aim is simply to offer students with a migration background a safe space where they can share their perspective.
