Budget Committee

The members of the Budget Committee oversee the finances of the AStA. This starts with reviewing expenditures and bookkeeping from the previous fiscal year for accuracy.
The committee can then issue a recommendation to the AStA on whether the authorized signatories should be discharged — i.e., confirm whether the financial management was carried out properly.

The committee also reviews the current year’s budget plan together with the AStA’s authorized signatories to assess its soundness.
